mr. conner

Welcome to the world Mr. Conner.  At only 6 pounds the day of our shoot, he still knew what he wanted.  FOOD and sleep, and well, some cuddles!  What an adorable little one.  For any parent interested in newborn photos this is a great example of why to do them as soon as you can after the birth.  Newborns are much easier to work with than even a one month old baby.  The golden time is within the first two weeks.  Thank you Connor for the "hang out" session (literally)!  I look forward to many more with you and your parents!  Much love, Em

rethink ink design, jodi passwaters

I would like to introduce my new favorite vendor, Jodi Passwaters, from Rethink ink design.  Below are some image of her work.  I am totally diggin' her concept of eco-friendly cards, invitations, stationary, and much more.  Her artistic ability and neato ideas make for a hip way to invite friends to your wedding or say thank you to your loved ones.  What I really love is that she can also design a whole theme around your event or wedding so everything is tailored and goes together.  A great example of this is of Meghan and Justin's wedding invites, shower invites, place cards, table number cards, and menus (some shown below).
If you need help designing a special announcement or already have a fabulous idea, contact Jodi, for she is your gal.  I liked Jodi's work so much that I had her design my own cards for M photography.
I also wanted to congratulate Jodi on being featured in the upcoming Wisconsin Bride Magazine. Right there on page 10 and 11.  Whoot Woot!
Contact Jodi for more information.  You go girl!  www.rethinkinkdesign.com    608.290.9003

john & genevieve

Cheers to my newest crazy in love couple, John and Genevieve.  They were married last weekend on the 3rd of July in Minocqua, WI at a private home on the lake.  The setting for both the ceremony and reception was outside and intimate, facing the beautiful lake.  What really impressed me was John and Gen and the love that they share.  They were so real together, so in love.  And that makes my job the best!  Capturing those connections just make my heart happy.  Thank you for sharing your love with me on your big day.  Cheers to you both and your love, Em

cardoni, schultz, & carney families

Five kids, six adults ... and everyone lived!  I had the distinct pleasure of working with these three fabulous families last week.  The goal was simple, to get everyone in the same picture looking in the same direction.  These multi family groups shots can be challenging but sometimes we get lucky and even the adults look at the lens while I sing funny songs!  It was a pleasure working with all of you and being a part of your family fun.  I hope all of you continue to have a great summer.  All the best, Em
