josh & jenny
Cheers to Josh and Jenny for creating a lovely wedding day in the North woods of Wisconsin. What a great day! Mostly cloudy, a peak of sunshine, and only a few rain drops. The ceremony and reception took place at Lakewoods Resort which was a great plan. It made things so easy for everyone to have everything in one place! The whole vibe of the day was that way ... easy going and fun! Jen even kicked off her heels for the ceremony to be more comfortable. It was awesome!
Big cheers also go out to Pete and Colleen, Jenny's Grandparents, for celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary earlier this summer! WOW, you two are an inspiration, not only in marriage, but on the dance floor as well!
Thank you for letting me get to know you both over this last year and for trusting me with your big day. We had an awesome time. All the best to you, Em

Here are my favorites from Katie's senior portrait session. We shot her session at Lensmire's Gardens in Stevens Point. What a beautiful location. There were so many unique spots in one location! Thank you Katie for trusting me to get you some great pictures for your big senior year. All the best to you. Em

Here are some of my favorite pictures for Jana's senior portrait session. Yes, those are her real eyes! No photoshop or contacts enhancing those baby blues. She is absolutely stunning and a joy to work with! And to top it off ... she can dance! I LOVE the first one of her jumping. What a thrill to work with such a talented youth. Jana, you are going to go very far, very far! Keep up the good work and all the best to you. Em

carrie & jeremy
Here is one of my favorite couples Carrie and Jeremy. I shot their wedding 3 years ago and now they are not just having one baby, but two. With twins on the way we went around town finding some fun spots to capture the joy and excitement of this amazing time for them. Thank you for being such great clients over the years and for all of your referrals.
Cheers to the girls. I can't wait to meet them in person. Em

brian & jen
We had a beautiful day for Brian and Jen's wedding. The temperature was perfect and cool for a summer day and the cloud cover made our pre-ceremony pictures perfect. The rain drops held off for the majority of the day and even when they fell we found some great spots to ward off the rain.
Their ceremony spot was held at a Parallel 44 Vineyard & Winery in Kewaunee, WI which turned out to be perfect for their small and intimate ceremony. Brian was such a rock star during the ceremony. He surprised everyone with a special ring not only for Jen but for Jen's daughter as well. It was extremely touching and even I was in tears. You can see some of those images in the slide show below.
We then traveled to Montagues Wine Bar Cafe which was also awesome and a perfect setting for Brian and Jen. I was very impressed with the locations and look forward to my next time in De Pere, for I will be going back to Montagues for sure!
Thank you, Brian and Jen, for including me in your intimate day. We hope you love the images as much as we do. All the best, Em

matt & kate
What a pleasure it was to be such a special part of Matt and Kate's big day. It was an extra special weekend for M photography and my family for Kate is my sister-in-law. We were able to be super "behind the scenes" for the whole weekend which gave Meghan (my assistant) and I a great perspective to get great work.
It was a joy to watch the big day come together so perfectly. A few sprinkles of rain, only a few tears, and poof ... a stunning bride appeared! Kate, I think you were breathtakingly gorgeous and Matt, well, you clean up really well too! I'm super pumped to have another "brother-in-out-law" (a group we call all of the people who marry into the Torhorst family) and am thrilled that you are our new member.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day and for being flexible with me and my "crazy" ideas. I hope you feel walking down those alleys and all those kisses and smiles were worth it!
Love you, Em
